Family lifenear the right school

For most families moving to Koh Samui, the school decides the area. The island has several international schools with British, French, bilingual or international programmes, mostly on the north and east coasts. Every home on this page is within about 15 minutes by car of at least one of them, so the school run stays short.

We also look at what matters at home: a safe garden and pool, a quiet street, a reasonable drive to a hospital, neighbours with children. Tell us which school you have in mind and how old your children are: we shortlist homes on the right side of the island and show you the area around the school.

Families who rent before they buy will also find long-term rentals here: a good way to test an area and the school run for a term before deciding.
